Sleeping cars for DB

CityNightLine (CNL) is a brand of high quality international night trains which supplement the network of EuroCity day trains. CNL trains consist of comfortable sleeping and couchette cars and 2nd class seating carriages. CityNightLine trains bring a new dimension to night-time travel in the Czech Republic.

The compartments in the sleeping cars where JLV provides services (similarly to regular sleeping cars) can be prepared for 1 – 3 travellers (single/double/tourist), but the new product involves the differentiation between 2 transportation categories: DELUXE, which provides regular hotel comfort, and Standard/Economy. The sleeping cars in CNL trains are fully air conditioned.

Services for travellers in CNL sleeping cars:

DeLUXE

• each cabin has its own toilet and shower
• a rich hotel breakfast (butter, jam, honey, salami, cheese, freshly baked baguettes, croissants, yogurt, juice, still water, hot drinks)
• towels, soap
• the Meridian magazine free of charge

Standard/Economy

• a towel, soap
• a common toilet/shower
• light refreshment in the transport price (a baguette, butter, jam, sweets, a hot drink, a fruit drink, still water)

Joint services for travellers on CNL trains:

• wake-up calls according to the travellers’ wishes the sale of refreshments throughout the entire journey (soft drinks, hot drinks, beer, wine, champagne, sweets, hot meals, etc.)
• minibar sales of drinks and sandwiches in the carriages
• adjacent compartments can be connected into 1 suite
